Faith in Archaeologists - Episode 75

On today's episode we talk to one current and one former archaeologist that are both religious and balancing religion and archaeology. One was a former SHPO and one is a Nun. I've always wondered how someone can reconcile religious beliefs with a field that seems to actively refute much of what's in the bible and other religious texts. We tackle those questions and more on this week's episode.

Should Archaeologist's Marry - Episode 74

This is a companion podcast to Bill White's blog post of a similar title. Should archaeologists, more precisely, Field Techs, marry each other? Perhaps our answers are different from yours, perhaps not. We do have some collective experience in this area. Let us know what you think in the comments.

Fitness and Quality of Life - Episode 72

On today's show we bring on three fitness experts to talk about why you should be doing a workout after work and what that will do for your quality of life. This doesn't mean you can't still have a few beers, but, it means you'll be healthier for a longer period of time and you won't feel like you want to die after an 17+ mile hike like I did they other day!

Binghamton U - MA in PubArch - Episode 71

On today's show, Chris Sims, Bill White, and I talk to Dr. Randy McGuire, a professor with Binghamton University's MA in Public Anthropology. This is intended to be essentially a CRM graduate degree and it sounds pretty solid. There is even a way to break into Southwestern Archaeology through this program. Listen in and tell us what you think.
